During Uber trips, riders receive a message when near a site linked to one of the Black Changemakers. They are able to learn more about the people behind it and discover their impact on the Black community.
Black History Discovery
Uber launched its first-ever in-app Black History Month activation in partnership with Kanaiza which highlighted black historical locations around the city of London.
Riders received a message when they were near a site linked to Black history so they could discover In partnership with Kanaiza Gallery, Uber shines a light on Black history in the capital.
The Discovery campaign was well-received and garnered 90,000 views.

‘Black, British + Proud’ is a series of photos and videos that champion the Black British identity. The series features portraits and testimonies from members of Uber’s Black community, including the drivers and couriers who are central to Uber’s operations.
